Follow this guide to ensure you uninstall the app correctly.

When uninstalling the app, we ask that you please do not uninstall the app directly from BigCommerce without following these instructions. If you do this, All in One Gifting will lose the data and access necessary to process refunds on your behalf for pending gifts. If you have accidentally uninstalled the app directly from BigCommerce without following this guide, please skip ahead to Step 6.

If you want to uninstall the app please follow these instructions:

Step 1 (Optional):

Check your orders in Gift Orders to confirm whether any gifts are pending redemption. If there are - we recommend that you expire the order and/or contact your customers. We will automatically email the sender and recipient with a notice that their order has expired.

You do not need to manually expire pending gifts individually. If you proceed with uninstalling the app following the steps below, we will refund all pending orders on your behalf.

Step 2:

In the Settings you will find the uninstall app button. We recommend that you export all data before clicking uninstall.

Step 3:

When you click to Uninstall App you will be prompted with a confirmation modal that will advise you of any missed gifts that are outstanding.

Step 4:

When you confirm your intention to uninstall the app, you will be prompted with a suggestion to Download CSV of your gifting orders.

Step 5:

Once you click Uninstall we will begin processing refunds for all pending gifts. PLEASE NOTE that it may take time to process the refunds. We will send an email once the refunds have been processed and it is safe for you to remove the app from BigCommerce directly. If you delete the app before this process is complete, we will not be able to complete refunds.

Step 6 (only application if you did not follow the above steps and directly removed the app from your store):

To ensure that the All in One Gifting settings are effectively properly removed from your BigCommerce admin portal, you should now follow these remaining steps:

Firstly, go to the setting page in the BigCommerce admin portal and click on shipping section:

Next, under the checkout shipping options click 'Edit':

Remove the 'Gifting Shipping Method' by clicking on the 'X' button, and then click 'Done'. Ensure that you repeat this step for all of the available countries and zones.

Next, go to the Script Manager section on the storefront page.

If there is a script named 'GiftingApp-Native', then remove this script by click on the delete button. If there is no script, then you can ignore this step.
