The first option on the Settings page allows you to enable or disable the app.
Disabling the App
When the app is Disabled your customers will not see the All in One Gifting banner on your product pages, and will not be able to use any of the gifting functionality. While the app is disable current gifts will still be processed. Here is a breakdown of exactly what happens when you click to Disable the app.
No Banner - the Gifting banner will not appear on your product pages. The banner's purpose is to give your visitors an indication that they can purchase an item as a gift. Customers will not see the banner when you have the app disabled.
No Option at Checkout - The "Send as a Gift" option at Checkout will also be disabled, and customers will not be able to choose to send an item as a gift.
Pending Gifts - All gifts that are still out for redemption will be processed. Your customers can still reach out to you with questions, and you will still have access to all of the behind the scenes tools to contact customers and recipients directly.
Active Subscription - Your subscription will remain active while the app is disabled and you won't lose any functionality.
Recommendations for Disabling
We recommend that you disable the app if you need to make any customizations to the app that will impact your customers. You should pick a time of day that won't impact your gifting sales.
