When an item becomes unavailable or the customer has requested to cancel the gift you can manually cancel and expire the gift. When an order is 'Pending Redemption' you can use the app to cancel the gift and get in touch with the customer.
Open the Gifts tab.
Click the three dots on the order associated with the customer you would like to cancel the gift.
Select 'Expire'
On the popup that shows confirm you want to expire the gift by clicking the blue 'Cancel' button.
The customer will be refunded the cost of the item and any associated costs. All In One Gifting will not email the customer or recipient automatically, we recommend that you contact them manually either using the 'Contact Customer' tool or your own communication tool.
